Welcome To The Manor Farm Shop

Welcome to The Manor Farm Shop where quality and service is our guarantee. Our aim is to provide you with the best quality, locally grown and British (where possible) products available at a price that is affordable. To be able to do this we have a network of partners hand selected in providing you, our valued customers, the freshness and diversity that we offer. We are constantly looking for new product lines so please keep visiting us to see what’s new!

Our family run business was started in 1979 by my father. He opened his first shop in Baddow Road, Chelmsford before moving on to Witham. Another move saw him travelling to Hornchurch before going full circle back home to Chelmsford, where we are today. Now in the farm shop is his son in law and daughter, Martin and Leila plus grandson George, who nearly forty years later are still bringing all of his skills, knowledge and experience in purveying good quality fruit and vegetables.

We pride ourselves in buying the freshest produce, fresh fruit, vegetables and salad daily from Spitalfields Market. Where possible, we also source locally direct from our network of growers whenever available and in season also within the closest proximity we can.

Leila.

We are a family run business, we pride ourselves with good old fashioned and friendly service.

Environmentally Friendly

As so many of our customers care about the environment, and we are all trying to cut down on plastic, we have paper bags available for all fruit and vegetables, you may also bring in your own containers for frozen produce and we will weigh them first and take it off the cost of the item weighed.
